No catch · Here's the whole thing

How this works, start to finish.

You've been burned before, so you're right to be skeptical. Good. Here's exactly how this goes — every step, and the honest answer to "what's the catch" at each one. Read the whole thing.

1
Before you pay anything

I build you a real mockup

You don't get a sales pitch or a slide deck. You get a link to an actual, working preview of your new website — built specifically for your business, before we've ever signed anything or you've paid a cent. You click it, you look at it on your phone, you see exactly what you'd be getting.

If it's not better than what you've got now, you walk away and you're out nothing but the few minutes it took to look. No pressure, no follow-up pestering.

But why would you do all that work for free?

Because talk is cheap and you've heard plenty of it. Showing you beats telling you. I'd rather earn your yes by doing the work first than ask you to trust a stranger's promises — those are exactly the promises that burned you last time.

2
Only if you love it

You say yes, and we go live

If you like what you see, we make it real. I finish the site, move it onto fast secure hosting, and point your domain at it. If you've got an existing site, I handle the switch so there's no gap and no downtime — your customers never see a hiccup.

The build itself is still free. There's no setup fee and no big upfront invoice. You simply start the monthly plan the month we go live. That's the first time any money changes hands — after you've already seen and approved the work.

So what's the real cost to get started?

Your first month — $399 — once the site is live and you're happy. No deposit, no setup fee, no "design retainer." If those words sound familiar, it's because they're how the last guy got paid before disappearing. Not here.

3
Every month after

I stick around — for good

This is the part nobody else does. Your site doesn't get built and abandoned. Every month I keep the hosting running and secure, handle your change requests, manage your Google Business Profile, and publish fresh local content that helps you get found. You text me when you need something and a real person — me — answers.

And once a month I'll send you a quick note on what I actually did and what it's doing for you. No mystery about where your $399 goes. You'll see it.

What if I want to leave?

Then you leave. It's month-to-month — cancel anytime, no termination fee, no 36-month trap. And because the site is yours, you take it with you. I'm betting you'll stay because it works, not because you're stuck. That's the only kind of customer worth having.

The honest part

If it's free to start and you can cancel anytime… where's the catch?

There isn't one — and here's the actual math, so you don't have to wonder. I can build your site for free because I'm not trying to make my money on the build. I make it on the long relationship: you paying a fair $399 a month for years, because I keep doing right by you.

That only works if you stay. And you'll only stay if the work is good and I actually answer the phone. So my incentive and yours point the exact same direction — keep you happy enough to keep paying. A disappearing web guy gets one payday. I'd rather have a customer for ten years.

The contract-trap outfits do the opposite: they lock you in so they get paid whether or not they do good work. I don't want that. If I'm not earning it every month, you should be free to walk. I'm confident enough in the work to bet the whole business on it.

No deposit to lose. No contract to escape. You own your site. The only thing keeping you here is whether I'm good.
